| We recommend that
you use the resolution setting of 1024 x 768 for your monitor, with the
display font set at "Small Font (96 DPI)". The modules are designed
for this setting. |
| |
| You may need to change
settings if you notice the bottom of of the module window is cut off like
this: |
|
| |
| If you or a technician
are permitted to change your settings (for Windows PCs): |
- First check your
monitor display resolution to see if it is set to 1024 x 768.
- Open the Display
Properties dialog window by right-clicking on the monitor desktop.
- Click on the
"Settings" tab.
- In the "Screen
Area" section (lower right of the Display Properties window),
slide the bar until the words underneath read "1024 x 768 pixels."
Click the "Apply" button, then the "OK" button
in the pop-up window that appears. The screen may go black or flicker,
then the monitor will display the new resolution. Another pop-up
window will appear asking if you want to keep the changes; click
"OK."
|
- If the module
still appears to be cut off on the bottom, you should check your display
font.
|
|
- How to check
your display font:
- Open the Display
Properties dialog window by right-clicking on the monitor desktop.
- Click on the
"Settings" tab.
- Click the
"Advanced..." button on the lower right.
- In the top
area of the "General" tab, there is a drop down menu labeled
"Display Font Size."
- If "Small
Fonts" is not chosen, click the drop down menu and choose "Small
Fonts".
- NOTE: Windows
is normally set to "Small Fonts." It is the default.
- You will probably
need to restart your computer; a pop-up message will alert you if
you need to restart. Use the restart button on the pop-up message.
- You may also
want to check the font size setting on your Internet browser.
- In Microsoft
Internet Explorer, click "View" on the menu bar.
- Roll the mouse
over "Text Size." A sub-menu will appear.
- Choose "Medium"
if it not already chosen.
- You will see
a slight change in the text size in the browser.
|
| If you cannot make
any changes to the computer: |
- You can still
access the bottom of the module window by using the Scroll Bar on the
right side of the window.
|
| |
| If you open the Dynamic
Notepad on 800 x 600 resolution, it will open up with half of its window
off the screen. Simply click on the very top section of the Dynamic Notepad
window (the title bar), hold the mouse button down, and drag the Dynamic
Notepad to the center. |
